
Mark Thomas Laurenson, 72, Warsaw, passed away at 1:22 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1946, in Wyandotte, Mich. to Dorothy Ellen (Cameron) Laurenson and Thomas Malcolm Laurenson. On July 3, 2010, he was married to Robin Lee Jenkins, who survives.
He earned his B.A. from Grace College in Winona Lake, and also attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. where he studied journalism and print. He worked in Annapolis, Md. in magazine design and worked in publishing college textbooks. He was a member of Christ’s Covenant Church of Warsaw and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nine years, Robin Lee Laurenson, Warsaw; two sons: Bryan (Hannah) Laurenson, Stephen Laurenson, both of Nashville, Tenn.; step-daughter: Lisa Stoll, New Jersey; step-son: Jonathan Stoll, Madison, Wisc.; and his three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark Laurenson’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Rod Valentine. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
