Brian F. Bensing, 51, North Webster, passed away at 9:07 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born Oct. 15, 1967, in Fort Belvoir, Va. to William F. and Linda K. (Miller) Bensing.

He graduated from Stevenson High School in Livonia, Mich. was currently employed as a marine mechanic at Pie Eyed Petey’s in Leesburg and Bower’s Marine Repair in North Webster. He lived most of his life in the North Webster area. He loved to be outdoors and out on the lake, fishing and water skiing or taking the kids tubing. He was a lifelong Detroit Redwings fan.

He is survived by his life companion, Michele Farkas, North Webster; daughter: Sarah (Aaron) Baier, Leesburg; stepchildren: Alex Garcia and Ali Garcia; grandsons: Isaac and Adam Baier; mother, Linda (Paul Cornez) Roberts, Warsaw; cousins: Derik, Korey, Stacey, Carrie, Sandi.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and cousin, Kaleb

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow at 4 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.
