Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:

12:11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, North CR 300 East near East CR 900 North, Milford. Drivers: Unknown; and Cheri R. Cooke, 51, EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Cooke was driving her vehicle on CR 300 east when another vehicle drove into the path of Cooke’s vehicle. Cooke’s vehicle struck a fence and the second vehicle went into a ditch. The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Damages up to $10,000.

8:16 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, North CR 175 East near East CR 550 North, Warsaw. Driver: Jordan T. Hupp, 25, Ranch Road, Warsaw. Hupp was driving his vehicle when it left the roadway and struck a bike lane sign. Damages up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:

10:08 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Guarmo Rangel, 37, Johnson Street, Logansport. Rangel backed his vehicle into a pole in the parking lot of the Warsaw Express Mart. Officers discovered that Guarmo was intoxicated at the time of the accident. Damage under $750.

8:18 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, Old Road 30 East near North CR 300 East, Warsaw. Driver: Ellen J. Foster, 29, East Kiser Lake Drive, North Webster. Foster was driving her vehicle on Old Road 30 when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.
