PIERCETON —  Pierceton and North Webster Fire Departments were called to a one-vehicle accident in the area of Ridinger Lake, Pierceton, shortly before noon Tuesday, Oct. 1,

Initial dispatch reports said the driver of the vehicle was ejected from a vehicle and injured after striking a tree. The accident occurred on EMS R4 Lane, near East Adams Road. Lutheran Air was called to the scene of the accident.

The accident was reported at 11:20 a.m.

Two hours prior to the accident, Pierceton and North Webster Fire Departments responded to a rollover crash involving a single vehicle just less than a mile away to the west. Lutheran Air was also called to the scene of that accident.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Lutheran EMS also assisted at the scene.
