PIERCETON —  Just after 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Kosciusko 911 Communications Center received a report of a rollover cash on CR 850E, north of Adams Road in Pierceton.

According to a press release issued by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, when first responders arrived at the scene, a 1997 Jeep Cherokee was found overturned on the roadway. The driver, identified as Remington Hurd, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered a head injury. Hurd was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne by Lutheran EMS.

Responding agencies include Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Pierceton Fire Department, North Webster Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Lutheran Air.
