PERU – Wyatt Wolf pitched Whitko past Peru 4-3 in non-conference prep baseball action Wednesday.

Wolf went the distance on the hill for the Wildcats. He allowed just six hits and no earned runs, while striking out five and walking none.

Zach Snep led the offense for Whitko by going 2-3 with an RBI.

The Wildcats scored three runs in the first inning and one in the fourth for the win. Wolf drove in Avery Robbins in the fourth inning with a groundout.

Whitko, now 7-3, hosts Lakeland Friday at 5 p.m.
