A Warsaw woman suffered non life-threatening injuries in a two vehicle crash near downtown Warsaw Wednesday.

At about 4:15 p.m. an SUV, driven by Clayton W. Rader, 34, of Fort Wayne, and a passenger car, operated by Merrille R. Wagner, 74, of Warsaw, collided in the intersection of Center and Columbia streets. Warsaw Police and officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department were on scene, as was Multi-Township EMS and Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory.

According to today’s police report, Rader was eastbound on Center Street and failed to see the stop sign at Columbia Street. Rader’s SUV hit Wagner’s car on the driver’s side, sending the car into a grassy area on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Wagner complained of head, neck, chest and body pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment.

Damages were noted at up to $5,000.
