Michael George McGuire, 80, Columbia City, passed away at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.

He was born on Sept. 26, 1938, in Chicago, Ill. to Elizabeth (Leeland) McGuire and George McGuire.  On June 23, 1962, he was married to Margaret (Paige) McGuire.

He worked the majority of his life as a salesman in Okonite, R.I. selling copper wire and cable. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Margaret McGuire; and his two sons:  Michael McGuire, Jr. and Matthew John McGuire, all of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He also leaves behind two grandchildren: John and Natalia McGuire; two sisters: Kathi Bachhuber, New Hampshire; and Muareen Klebe, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will take place in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
