Velva M. Rogers, 93, Mentone, passed away 6:45 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, in her residence. She was born on Dec. 30, 1925, in Rochester, to Gus and Mary Ellen (Tucker) Mollenhour.

On May 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to James E. Rogers, who has since preceded her in death.

The family of Velva requests that only family members and close friends attend the funeral services. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ryan Petgen will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Rochester, at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. 2019.
