DaraCelia Hernandez, 28, Wawaka, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on Oct. 18, 1990 in Kendallville to Francisca Najera-Renteria and the late Antonio Hernandez-Estrada.

She is survived by her mother, Francisca Najer-Renteria of Wawaka; a son, Emánuel Ramirez of Wawaka; a daughter, Nataly Ramirez of Wawaka; two brothers, Antonio Hernandez and Julio Hernandez both of Wawaka; and three sisters; Erika Hernandes, Sonia Hernandez both of Ligonier, and Diana Hernandez of Wawaka.  DaraCelia’s father Antonio Hernandez-Estrada proceeded her in death.

A funeral mass will be held in DaraCelia’s honor at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ligonier. Father Wilson Corzo will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier. Family and friends will be received from 1-9 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 16, at Yeager Funeral Home.
