Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Sunday, April 14, 1:30 p.m. Officers received reports of eggs thrown at vehicles and property on Lynn Lane. The eggs damaged five garage doors and one vehicle.
  • Sunday, April 14, 11:45 a.m. Officers were called to the 500 block of Clinic Court where a man reported a battery.
  • Sunday, April 14, 7:47 p.m. Chandra Kohler, 25, and Alexandra Krizan, 19, both of Warsaw, were arrested for shoplifting approximately 45 items from Walmart.
  • Saturday, April 13, 10:06 p.m. Officers were called to the 2700 block of Ivywood Drive for a suspicious incident. The incident is under investigation.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Sunday, April 14, 6:32 p.m. Daniel Compagnari of Silver Lake reported an animal bite occurred at a home on West Myrtle Glen Road.
  • Sunday, April 14, 9:05 p.m. Police were alerted to threats made over Facebook.
  • Sunday, April 14, 6:38 p.m. Ashley Shafer of Claypool reported the theft of a porch swing.
  • Sunday, April 14, 9:58 a.m. Officers were called about two brothers arguing and making threats.
  • Sunday, April 14, 7:45 a.m. Myron Miller reported a burglary in the 4900 block of West 600 North, Leesburg. A number of tools, an air compressor and a generator were stolen. Value: $1,650
  • Saturday, April 13, 10:12 p.m. Dawn Parks of Warsaw reported the theft of her automobile from a residence on West 250 South, Warsaw.
  • Saturday, April 13, 2:43 p.m. Mary Phillips of Warsaw reported an arrow was stuck in the roof of her garage.
  • Saturday, April 13, 2:12 p.m. Randy Scott of Syracuse reported his home was broken into and medications were stolen.
