WARSAW — A one-car accident at the corner of West Winona Avenue and South Hand Avenue in Warsaw left the vehicle in a precarious position Thursday afternoon, Sept. 5.

The driver of a Mercedes apparently failed to negotiate a curve as he traveled on Winona Avenue and onto South Hand Avenue. The vehicle struck two posts that were part of a warning sign. The car was left propped up on its side against the two posts.

The apparent driver was walking around and talking with police and was also being checked out by medics.

The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. No other details were available.
