TRITON 4, KNOX 1
Triton beat Knox a second time Wednesday, this time on the road.

John Gardner put away Ethan Sanders, 6-0, 6-1 at 1 singles, Connor Large topped Devan Himes 6-2, 6-1 at 2 singles, and Brock Taulbee beat Gavin Greer, 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 3 spot to prevent the singles sweep.

Jared Bules and Tyler Heckaman rallied to defeat Gabe Manning and Josh Fletcher at 1 doubles, 2-6, 6-1, 6-1. Cole McKinney and Chandler Westafer earned a 6-2, 6-0 win over Carter Fornelli and Colin Bottorff at 2 doubles.

Triton’s JV trumped the hosts, 2-1.

The Trojan varsity improves to an even 2-2 on the season and 2-1 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference. Triton will host HNAC foe LaVille Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

JOHN GLENN 5, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 0
Valley was competitive at several positions, but still fell in straight sets on all courts in a sweep by Glenn Wednesday.

Payton Mills lost 6-3, 6-2 to Anthony Kaser at 1 singles, Dylan Neese fell by an even closer, 6-3, 7-5 score to Brandon Goble at 2 singles, Russ Paxton and Ethan Hartman fell 7-5, 6-1 to Matthew Moore and Colin Stephens at 1 doubles, and Mason Purvis and Annakin Pettit fell 6-4, 6-1 to Frankie Lizzi and Noah Dreibelbeis at 2 doubs. Owen Kirchenstein was shut out 0 and 0 by Joe Delinski at 3 singles.

Valley’s JV fell on all three courts Wednesday.

The Vikings will play at Three Rivers Conference-foe Peru on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
