Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:51 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, East Market Street, east of South Hickory Street, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. An unknown driver was traveling east on East Market Street when they struck Cory M. Thomas, 42, Warsaw, who was operating a bicycle. The unknown driver left the scene of the accident. Thomas sustained injuries and lacerations to his head, arms, chest, stomach and knees. He was taken by police to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $5,000.

5:19 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, North Parker Street, north of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Supreeth N. Gowda, 28, North Orchard Drive Apartment 5, Warsaw; and Joseph C. Knapp, 27, Coventry Parkway, Fort Wayne. Gowda entered North Parker Street from an access road when a collision occurred with Knapp’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

4:07 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, West Winona Avenue, near South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Parkur L. Dalrymple, 18, East CR 400N, Rochester; and Robert A. Barnhill, 24, Biblers Avenue, Winona Lake. Dalrymple was traveling east on West Winona Avenue and was approaching the intersection of South Columbia Street when he rear-ended Barnhill’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
