Gary Lee Lepper, 61, Kimmell, passed away on Aug. 7, 2019, at his residence.

He was born in Fort Wayne on Feb. 24, 1958, to the late Robert and Vera (Walker) Lepper. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army and served from 1975 to1981.

He worked as a painter for over 30 years.

Gary is survived by his daughter: Holly Lucas, Kimmell; fiancé: Barbara Jones, Kimmell; a grandson: Isaiah Weingartner; six brothers: James (Marsha) Lepper, Butler; Charles E. Lepper, Fort Wayne; Keith A. (Darla) Lepper, Michigan; Carl (Cindy) Lepper, Merriam; Randy L. Lepper, Churubusco; and Curt A. Lepper, Kimmell; and a sister: Shelley (John) Davies, Syracuse.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a niece: Nicole Davies; and a nephew: Jimmy Lepper.

Memorial services will take place at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, with Pastor Rick Van Horn officiating.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
