Grace’s Stoll Earns Medalist Honors

images-8GRANGER, Ind. – Junior Trey Stoll kicked off the spring golf season for Grace College with a flourish by winning Monday’s Bethel Spring Sprint.

Stoll’s two-round total of 146 earned himself medalist honors by three strokes over his nearest competitor as the Lancers finished third overall as a team.

Caleb Rovenstine tied for fourth place individually with a consistent 76-77.

Taylor Fanning was third for Grace by carding a 79-86, and Kyle Condon rounded out the Lancers’ scoring with a two-round total of 170.

As a team Grace totaled 634 to tie Indiana Tech for third place and beating Crossroads League foe Spring Arbor by 13 strokes. Bethel College won the event with a total of 615.

The Lancers continue the spring season on Friday and Saturday with the Pilot Invitational at Blackthorn Golf Course.
