Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

8:59 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, East Center Street and South Lindberg Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jesus Ortiz, 36, South West Street, Akron; Maranda R. Stookey, 29, West CR 700N, Leesbug. Ortiz told police he was driving his vehicle east on Center Street and that when Stookey’s vehicle in front of him stopped suddenly to make a turn, he could not stop his vehicle in time to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $5,000.

7:23 p.m. Monday, July 22, 1055 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Noah L. Bohnenkamper, 17, East Dellview Drive, Warsaw; and Gregory M. Oberlin, 57, South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Bohnenkamper’s vehicle was inside Clearwater Car Wash when he placed his vehicle into drive, causing his vehicle to strike Oberlin’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Noon, Sunday, July 21, Nature View Drive, east of Shagbark Lane, Warsaw. June Rea, Nature View Drive, Warsaw, told police that her vehicle rolled out of her garage, down her driveway and struck a parked car. Damage up to $5,000.

Fulton

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

  • 8:31 a.m. Sunday, July 21, 500 North and 650 East. Driver: Courtney N. Burns, 23, Mentone. Burns struck a deer.
  • 1:37 p.m. Friday, July 19, U.S. Highway 31 and Old U.S. 31. Drivers: Rachael R. Bainter, 24, South Bend, and Nathan S. Jacobs, 17, Rochester. Two wreckers needed. No injuries reported.
