WARSAW — Kosciusko County Animal Control Officer Jerry Clase has been suspended for five days without pay following an incident in which a woman said he killed her dog without her knowledge.

The county commissioners took the action Tuesday morning.

Clase took the ill dog after being called by a landlord to an Etna Green residence of the woman who owned the dog.
