PIERCETON — A rear-end collision at the intersection of SR 13 and Old US 30 early Friday evening, July 12, sent one woman to the hospital with as yet unknown injuries, according to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office personnel.

Multiple units were called to the scene at about 5:30 p.m. Friday to respond to a collision between a maroon Chevrolet minivan and a gray Honda Odyssey minivan. According to police, the Honda was stopped at the intersection while traveling northbound on SR 13 and was struck from the rear by the Chevrolet.

Multiple units responded, including Pierceton Police Department, Winona Lake Police Department, Pierceton Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Pierceton Fire Department. More information will be posted as it become available.
