WARSAW — A Warsaw Community High School alumnus will return to Kosciusko County to take part in an event designed to benefit a local addiction prevention program.

Emily Behny

Emily Behny, a native of Silver Lake and 2005 WCHS graduate who currently lives in New York City where she works as a singer and actor, will teach a two-day audition masterclass at the high school and will perform with the students from that class at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 in the high school’s Performing Arts Center.

“I am performing ‘Coming Home,’ a night of song about my personal journey as an actor in New York City over the last 10 years,” Behny said. “Half of all ticket proceeds will go to All Things New, Warsaw’s residential addiction treatment center for women. The evening will end with a VIP after party, a chance for guests to mingle with me and learn more about the organization we are supporting.”

According to Behny, tickets can be purchased online now or, beginning July 29, by phone at (574) 371-5040. To buy tickets online, click here.
