FORT WAYNE – The Embassy Theatre offers an afternoon of silent film 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14. Silver screen entertainment includes Harold Lloyd’s “Safety Last” and silent film short, “Impossible Voyage,” both accompanied by Steven Ball on the Grande Page Organ. A Q&A session led by IPFW professor Steven Carr will follow the feature film.

“Safety Last” is one of the most recognized films from the silent film era. The famous scene from which Lloyd is hanging from the clock tower has been recreated in many films since its release in April 1923.

“Impossible Voyage” is a 1904 film created by Georges Melies, who was featured in the film Hugo.

General admission tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the Embassy box office and Ticketmaster.
