Lowell Fredrick Hollar, 82, Argos, died at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at his daughter’s residence following a brief illness. On May 26, 1937, in Kosciusko County, he was born to John Hollar and Helen (Watkins) Hollar and had lived most of his life in the Argos community.

Mr. Hollar had worked at Lobdell Emery, Argos; and Wicks Buildings, Argos. He severed in the United States Army from 1960-1962.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Smith and husband Tracy of Argos; a son: Lowell John Hollar and wife Susan of Argos; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister: Melba Hammond (Kenneth), Argo; brothers: Carl Hollar and wife Clara of Argos; James Hollar and wife Karen of Argos; and William “Bill” Hollar of Argos;

He is preceded in death by his Parents; and Brothers Harvey Hollar and Richard Hollar

Friends may visit with the family 10 a.m.-noon, Monday, July 8, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.

Funeral Services will follow the visitation at noon at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
