Grace Marie Bradbury, 86, Winona Lake, formerly of North Webster, passed away at 8:37 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019, at Grace Village Healthcare in Winona Lake. She was born April 23, 1933, in Coudersport, Penn. to Chester A. and Mary G. “Gladys” (Roberts) Holcomb.

She graduated in 1950 from Otto Township High School in Duke Center, Penn. and in 1954 from Mansfield State Teachers College in Mansfield, Penn. She was married on May 28, 1956, in Chattanooga, Tenn. to Ralph Walter Bradbury Jr. who preceded her on Jan. 3, 2019. She retired in 1990 from Benjamin School District #25, West Chicago, Ill. as head of the Mathematics Department after teaching there for 18 years and formerly taught school in Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee, Georgia. She moved to the North Webster area in 1991 from Wheaton, Ill. where she lived until moving to Grace Village in Winona Lake.

She attended the Grace Village Chapel and formerly attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Oswego.

She is survived by her daughter: Mary Katherine “Kathy” (Kevin) Reed of Eau Claire, Mich.; son: Mark Stephen (Julie) Bradbury of Elburn, Ill.; granddaughters: Rachael (Mark) and Elizabeth; five grandsons: Thomas, Hunter, Philip, Conner, and David; great-granddaughters: Lyla and Paislee; sister: Esther Kuhn of Statesville, N.C.; two sisters-in-law: Delores Holcomb of Smethport, Penn. and Jane Ann Bradbury of Seattle, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Boyd and Bruce Holcomb.

Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., Friday in the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
