Kim M. Boggs, 63, rural Warsaw and Mentone, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones at 4:20 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2019, at Peabody Retirement Community of North Manchester.

He was born on March 30, 1956, in Warsaw to Harry Dale and Joyce (Taylor) Boggs.

He married on Feb. 28, 2019, in Fort Wayne to Anna Hagedorn Stiles, she survives.

He was a lifetime carpenter retiring in 2012 and then spent 6 years working for R.R. Donnelley.

He was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1974. He enjoyed Thursday Night Men’s Golf League at Raccoon Run for over 30 years, bowling, throwing Frisbees, and reading Science Fiction. He made multiple canoe trips to Canada with the Tom Maze/St. Anne’s Episcopal Church. He was a life long Yankees fan. Kim was commonly known by his close friends as “Boggsie” or “Dos”. His favorite place to visit in the world was Jamaica. He was known for building and making many things which included building his whole family’s homes. He spent his years working at what he wanted to do every day.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Boggs, Mentone; step-daughters: Autumn Jacobs (partner Sok Dunmyre) Tacoma, Wash.; Brooke (Nick) Huffman, Silver Lake; Caylee (Shane) Kline, Galveston; granddaughter: Brynne Nicole Huffman; mother: Joyce Boggs, Warsaw; twin brother: Kevin (Faith) Boggs, Warsaw; sister: Pam (Bill) Kolter, Claypool; nieces and nephews: Brandon and wife Kelli Hepler, Nate and wife Karie Hepler, Jessica Lynn Boggs and husband Michael Davies, Loren Nicole Boggs and partner Zachary Harper, Phillip Michael Boggs and partner Holly Perkins; great nieces and nephews: Kendall, Kale, and Eli Hepler, Isabella and Finn Davies, Sebastian Boggs.

He was preceded in death by his father: Harry Dale ‘Jim” Boggs; father-in-law: David Hagedorn; his best dog, Max.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, July 6, at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana with Rev. Jason Rice officiating. His interment will take place in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.

Visitation hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 5, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, Indiana.
