Norma Elaine Bolen

Norma Elaine Bolen, Mentone, passed away at 6:31 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 72.

She was born Dec 21, 1946, in Rochester, to Reba (Wagoner) Isley and Andrew Noble Isley. On Oct. 7, 1964, in Rochester she was married to Delbert Bolen, who survives.

Norma attended Talma High School, and worked as a supervisor at Marshall Electric in Rochester for ten years. She loved to cook and celebrate family occasions and holidays. With her entire life spent as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Norma will be remembered by all.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Delbert Bolen, Warsaw; four daughters:  Peggy (Mark) Davis, Warsaw; Norma (Lonny) Hodges, Mentone; Regina Bolen, Mentone; April (Michael) Meade, Mentone; and her son: Noble (Debbie) Bolen, North Manchester. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two brothers:  Larry (Edith) Isley, Rochester, and Max (Eileen) Isley, Akron; five sisters:  Loretta Miller, Alabama, Barbara Reese, Bourbon, Mary (Larry) Hammonds, Claypool, Sue (John) Miller, Peru, and Cindy (Tom) Burnworth, Claypool.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenny, Billy and Carleton; two sisters, Nancy and Juanita; daughter, Evelyn Elaine Bolen on Sept. 3, 2008; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Mark Davis and Pastor Ballard Wood. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Palestine Cemetery in Palestine.
