Willodean Epler, 87,Claypool, passed away at 1:56 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, in Warsaw. She was born on May 20, 1932, to Benjamin and Mary (Baugher) Hively in Pierceton. She was united in marriage on June 20, 1948, to Emmitt “Jack” Epler in Peru.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County for most of her life.

She is survived by daughters; Diana Hughes of Claypool; Jackie Sainer of Silver Lake; grandchildren; Carl Hughes of Silver Lake; Steven (Tina) Hughes of Claypool; Ryan Schumacher of Claypool; Jennifer Greenwood of Warsaw; and Holly Gilliam of Silver Lake. In addition, she is survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 15 great great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband; Emmit Epler, daughter; Linda Whetstone, son; Charles Epler, five brothers and five sisters.

A graveside service for Willodean will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
