PIERCETON — Around 3 p.m. today, June 18, emergency responders were dispatched to a possible industrial fire at Paragon Medical, 8 Matchett Drive, Pierceton.

Pierceton Fire Department initially responded and called for a full assist from North Webster Fire Department. Later, officials requested an assist from Turkey Creek Fire Department. Lutheran EMS was also on scene.

Employees of Paragon Medical were evacuated due to the fire. Officials at Paragon refused to speak with the media and requested that media personnel leave the property.
