WINONA LAKE — Shortly after 11:15 p.m., last night, June 17, Winona Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a fully engulfed trailer fire at Fairlane Mobile Home Park, 1202 Wooster Road, Winona Lake.

According to dispatch reports, the fire quickly spread. Both lots 61 and 62 were affected by the fire.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department was called for a full-assist and Pierceton Fire Department assisted with manpower.

Jordan Joseph Schultz, 29, 1202 Wooster Road, Lot 61, Winona Lake, was arrested for arson of a dwelling early this morning, June 18. He has a bond of $15,250 surety and cash. No further details of a possible crime are available at this time.

According to a neighbor on scene this morning, no one was home at the time of the fire. A call made to Winona Lake Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Gelbaugh for more information has yet to be returned.
