Raymond L. Burt, 87, Warsaw, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. He was born on Dec. 1, 1931, to Louis and Jessie (Hill) Burt in Michigan. He was united in marriage on Dec. 9, 1961, to Jeanette Morgan in Hastings, Mich.

He retired as a forklift driver for Frozen Food Specialties -Archbold, Ohio. He resided at Dewart Lake in Syracuse, as well as in Warsaw. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, driving his boat around the lake and his animals.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Warsaw; daughters: Annett Gutierrez of Michigan City; Lanett Lemaster of Warsaw; son; Robert Blankenship of the Philippines; daughters: Vickie (Blankenship) Reese, and Rebecca (Blankenship) Ratterree both of Wasilla, Alaska; brother; Fred (spouse Mary) Burt. In addition, Raymond is survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

The visitation hours will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.

His funeral service will also be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating.
