FULTON — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that SR 19 is scheduled to be resurfaced on or after Monday, June 10, weather permitting.

The resurface work will take place on SR 19 between Front Street and Brentwood Drive in Akron.

During the day, drivers are cautioned to watch for traffic directed by flaggers, as well as possible stopped traffic in the construction zone.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active work zone.

The project is expected to be completed by early July, weather permitting.

The contract was awarded to INDOT contactor E&B Paving for $220,000.
