Josephine F. Manning, 93, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6:43 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 29, 1919, to Joe and Stella (Sherman) Tushner. She lived in Chicago moving to Warsaw in 1977. She married Foster W. Manning in Chicago. He preceded her in 1965.
She previously work for Bally Corporation in assembly department, prior to 1965 she worked for Demand Butter and Eggs. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and playing the piano.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Josephine is survived by her son: Foster W. Manning, Ramona, Calif.; a grandson: Glen Manning, San Diego, Calif.; two granddaughters: Vicki Lynn Reid, Chicago; and Dawn Marie Essig, San Diego; a brother: Jo Tushner; and a sister, Theresa Bochonok.
No services are planned. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.
