Ochoa Signs With Bethel Swim

WARSAW – Tiger senior swimmer Victor Alexis Mejia Ochoa has made the decision to continue his career at Bethel University in the fall.

Mejia, has been a four year varsity letter winner for the Tiger swim team coached by Tony DeBrota. Mejia has also participated in cross country, wrestling and track and field. Mejia also was honored as a Scholar Athlete and was the cross country mental attitude award winner as a sophomore.

Mejia is also a strong contributor in the classroom and community. He has been a Member of National Honor Society and been an honor roll member all four years, accumulating a 10.04 GPA. He participated in the Criminal Justin Program and was a recipient of the Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence. Mejia has also spent time mentoring youth at the Baker Youth Club.

Mejia plans to study Criminal Justice at Bethel University while swimming for coach Deb Thompson.
