Bell Library Announces June Schedule

MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day.

The library will begin signups for its summer reading program on Tuesday, May 28. This year’s theme is “A Universe of Stories.”  The program will run from June 3 to July 12.

The library has programs for all age groups. There will be prizes awarded for each age group. Creative Corner for Thursday, May  23 has been cancelled and there will be no story hour on Friday, May 24. Due to the library being closed on Memorial Day, this month’s Euchre club is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28 in the library’s large conference room.

These recently added titles are available: “The Printed Letter Bookshop” by Katherine Reay, “We Are the Gardeners” by Joanna Gaines and “Why We Fight” by T.J. Klune. Kids titles include “Diary of an Awesome, Friendly Kid” by Jeff Kinney and “5 Minute Disney Pixar Stories” by Disney Book Club.  

New DVDs include “Artic, Holmes & Watson,” “A Place to Call Home” (Season 6) and “Until Forever.”

New EBooks coming soon  include “The Golden Hour” by Beautriz Williams, “Howard Stern Comes Again” by Howard Stern, “Labyrinth” by Catherine Coulter, “The Never Game” by Jeffery Deaver, “One Good Deed” by David Baldacci, “The Russian” by Ben Coes and “Sophia, Princess Among Beasts” by James Patterson.
