Helen Louise Miller, 88, Warsaw, formerly of Ripley, passed away 1:05 a.m., Monday, May 20, at Cardinal Group Home in Warsaw. She was born on May 27, 1930 in Winamac, to the late William H. and Thelma I. Darlington Miller.

She was a wonderful and tenacious lady, and long-time member of the Cardinal family. Helen enjoyed telling the many stories of her past and sharing her history with those who would listen. She thoroughly enjoyed reading and singing hymns and other songs she remembered from growing up, her favorite being, “You Are My Sunshine”.

Helen’s Bible was always by her side and a smile always on her face. She loved any meal that consisted of fried chicken and fried potatoes and she especially loved drinking a pop with it. She brightened up every room she entered and those who knew her will always remember her as a lady with an affinity for life and living it to the fullest. Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Anna Dunlap, from Mississippi; and her brother, William Miller, from Indiana.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 24, at the Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
