Officers from the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

9:29 p.m. Thursday, May 16, South SR 15, south of West Hill Lake Road, Silver Lake. Driver: Lorin Acree, 32, SR 15, Claypool. Acree’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.

5:08 p.m. Thursday, May 16, North SR 15 and West CR 400N, Warsaw. Drivers: Todd Biller, 54, CR 400W, Milford; and Anna Hernandez, 31, CR 200W, Warsaw. Hernandez slowed her vehicle down to turn off the road and Biller’s vehicle rear-ended her vehicle. Biller told police that when he attempted to brake, his front wheel locked up, causing the collision. Damages up to $10,000.

5:05 a.m. Thursday, May 16, North CR 900W, north of West CR 600N, Etna Green. Driver: Aaron Long, 29, Walnut Street, Etna Green. Long told officers he was traveling south on North CR 900W when two horses entered the roadway. Long’s vehicle struck the horses and both horses were killed on impact. Damages up to $25,000.
