Sandra K. Haviland, 77, of Syracuse passed away on May 11, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 11, 1941 in Syracuse to William & Anna (Stabler) Hess.

On June 27, 1960 she married Larry E. Haviland who survives. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.

Along with her husband of 58 years, she is survived by her three sons: Larry Ray Haviland of Elkhart; Tim Haviland of Fate, Texas; and Gregory (Valerie) of Nappanee. Daughter in law, Sharon Haviland of Wakarusa; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, William J. (Sue) Hess of Florida; one sister, Anita (Pastor) Hess-Montes of Oregon.

She was preceded by her parents, and 1 son Brad Haviland.

There will be a memorial remembering Sandra’s life at the Haviland home from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, May 26.  Eastlund Funeral Home assisted the family.
