Bruce S. Leitch, 56, of Kimmell, passed away on June 26, 2013, at home. He was born on Feb. 19, 1957 to Carroll V. and Martha J. (Clouse) Leitch in Kendallville. He married Helen Winkleblack on Nov. 7, 1975 in Albion.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, of Kimmell; a sister, Nancy (Ed) White of Larwill; three brothers, Norman (Marcia) Leitch of Kimmell,  Russ (Colleen)  Leitch of Columbia, S.C. and Tim (Helen) Leitch of Albion. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Leitch retired from Silgan Plastics as a maintenance man eight years ago. He loved fishing and mushroom hunting. His family called him Mr. Fix-It and enjoyed the challenge of being a true storyteller in the family, and regaled them with his tales.

A funeral service in his honor will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday July 3, 2013, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier.  Pastor Tom Leitch will officiate. Burial will be in Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be on from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday July 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
