Lettie Jo Lindsey, 78, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Jackson, Mich., passed away at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.

She was born Jan. 2, 1935, in Martin, Ky., to Charles B. and Belle (Spears) Rickman. She was a daycare worker and loved spending time with the kids.

She is survived by a daughter: Tresa (James) Hatch, Jackson, Mich.; two sons: Michael (Teresa) Lindsey, Warsaw; and  Chris (Candace) Lindsey, Rive Junction, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one unborn great-grandchildren; three sisters: Nellie (Bob) Hoene, Warsaw; Nora (Bob) Stephens, Warsaw; and Bonnie Rickman, Florida; and a brother: Paul (Barb) Rickman, Jackson, Mich.

She was preceded in death by a son: Mark Steven Lindsey.

Visitation is until 1 p.m. today at Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge, Mich., with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Pastor Robert Castle will officiate. Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Munith, Mich.
