ANDERSON — A pilot is seriously injured in a plane crash at Anderson Municipal Airport.

The crash happened after 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The pilot was flown by a medical helicopter to a hospital.

Police have not released the pilot’s name, because they’re working to notify his family.

The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.
