PIERCETON— Shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, Washington Township Fire Department and Lutheran EMS were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pierceton Road and CR 500E in Pierceton.

Initial dispatch reports said two individuals in the vehicle accident sustained leg injuries. Airbags were also deployed in both vehicles.

Winona Lake Fire Department, Winona Lake Police Department and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
