
WARSAW — Police say a man was slightly injured Tuesday, April 30, when he ran his bicycle into a train on Winona Avenue in Warsaw.
First responders reported that the man, who was seen riding his blue bicycle into the train, suffered minor abrasions to his hands and face and was transported to a local hospital. First responders added that the victim was “combative at times.”
The accident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. and the victim was treated on the west side of the stopped train during intermittent drizzle.
Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS assisted at the scene.
