Fire Quickly Contained In Dot Street Home

Firefighters of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Winona Lake Fire Department quickly contained a fire in a home on Warsaw’s Dot Street.

The fire was reported just after 5 p.m. at 1522 Dot St. It appears the blaze may have started in a bedroom, but fire officials have not yet provided information as they are still on scene.

Tankers from Winona Lake and the Leesburg/Plain Township fire departments were initially dispatched but quickly disregarded.

We will have additional information as it becomes available.
