Mary E. Thurm, 91, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Peoria, Ill., passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw.

On Jan. 31, 1922, she was born in Peoria, Ill., to Walter E. and Elizabeth Hazel (Day) Mulvaney. She lived most of her life in Peoria until moving to Warsaw in April of 2007.

Mary worked as a receptionist for Proctor Hospital, Peoria. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Pekin, Ill., and was also a member of Women of the Moose Lodge, Pekin, and the Westinghouse Choir.

She is survived by three children: Walter E. (Joanne) Fetgatter Lt. Commander Retired, Ramona, Calif.; Mary E. Fetgatter (Edward) Graves, Warsaw, Ind.; and Daniel L. (Karen) Fetgatter, Pontiac, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by three husbands: Daniel Fetgatter, Donald McKown and Miles Thurm; and three brothers.

There are no services or visitation planned. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Elmwood, Ill., at a later date.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
