KOSCIUSKO — A local attorney who is facing eight felony charges after police say he stole funds from the law firm he worked for was arrested in Michigan Monday, April 15.

Acting upon anonymous information, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies located Scott Lennox, 50, at a motel in West Lansing, Mich. Lennox was taken into custody, without incident, and is awaiting extradition to Indiana. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Eaton and St. Clair County, Michigan Sheriff’s Offices.

Sheriff Kyle Dukes would like to thank the public for the crucial tips. Sheriff Dukes would also like to recognize the hard work put forth by the deputies tasked with apprehending Lennox.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
