Elene E. Shively, 92, formerly of Warsaw, Ind., and Nappanee, Ind., passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor of Plymouth, Ind.
She was born May 19, 1920, to Ellis and Dorthea (Culp) Hill in Kosciusko County, Ind.
She was formerly a Warsaw resident and Attended Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a 22-year employee of Playtime Inc and a 15-year employee of Kimble Glass, both of Warsaw.
Survivors include a daughter: Noretta (Bob) Brown, Nappanee; sons: Dean (Martha) Shively, Plymouth; and Gary (Judy) Shively, Bremen, Ind.; a sister: Maralee (Jim) Watson, Arizona; and eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Carolyn Wise, Alice Jean Hill and Corabell Smith; and brothers Donald Hill and Anthony “Gus” Hill; a grandson: Larry A. Brown; and a great-granddaughter: Starli Brown.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Chaplain Tom Padberg will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
