Timothy ‘Martzie’ Allen Martz, 57, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away at 9:27 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his home.

He was born on Nov. 14, 1955, in Columbia City, to Richard C. Martz, Sr. and Rose Ellen (Gerardot) Martz. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1974.

Timothy was a bartender at The 11th Frame and also bartended at Duffs and The Elks. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Elks Lodge #1417. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed playing cards, golf and singing karaoke.

He is survived by his parents; a sister: Christine Goodrich, Columbia City; brothers: Randall ‘Randy’ (Dianna) Martz, Claypool, Ind.; Richard ‘Rick’ (Pam) Martz Jr., Fort Wayne, Ind.; and seven nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
