Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

1:18 p.m. Monday, March 25, North Main Street and West Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Drivers: Jacob J. Hostetler, 87, Parent Drive, Warsaw;  and Joshua Dewitt Rogers, 26, Beaucrest Avenue, High Point, N.C. Hostetler was pulling out of a gas station and attempting to turn north onto Main Street when his vehicle collided with Rogers’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:34 p.m. Monday, March 25, Anchorage Road, north of Sunset Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Juan A. Martinez, 22, East Market Street, Warsaw; and William J. Rex, 35, East Bond Street, North Webster. Martinez stated as he was making a left turn onto Sunset Drive, the sun was in his eyes and his vehicle pulled into the path of Rex’s vehicle, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $10,000. 

5:40 p.m. Monday, March 25, Shelden Street and Heron Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Megan M. Sullivan, 17, Legacy Lane, Winona Lake; and Brandy Flory-Damron, 44, West Side Drive, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection as Sullivan was making a left turn. Damage up to $5,000. 

4:24 p.m. Monday, March 25, US 30, west of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Arthur R. O’Connor, 80, Beechwood Street, Warsaw; Edward J. Frost,  51, East Pierceton Road, Warsaw; and Roger H. Rapsavage, 61, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. O’Connor’s vehicle rear-ended Frost’s vehicle, resulting in Frost’s vehicle rear-ending Rapsavage’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

3:49 p.m. Monday, March 25, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Melody A. Wright, 65, College Avenue, Winona Lake. Wright’s vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle in Owens parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.
