WARSAW — A female driver was transported by Lutheran Air after a two-vehicle accident that occurred on SR 15, near CR 200S, Warsaw.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. Monday, March 18, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS and officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle accident. The accident involved a dark Chevy Cruze and a semi.

The Chevy Cruze sustained extensive front end damage and the female driver had to be extracted from the vehicle. The driver was transported via helicopter from the scene due to injuries.

The semi involved sustained no visible damage from the accident.

Officers on the scene were unable to disclose any details regarding the accident. No further information is available at this time.
