WARSAW – Warsaw Community High School Lady Tiger basketball sharpshooter Halle Shipp has made the decision to continue her basketball and academic career at Earlham College.

Shipp was instant offense for the Lady Tigers the last two seasons and a winner of the team “Drop the Hammer” award. Shipp averaged just four points per game, but shot 46 percent (21-45) from the three-point line to help lead the Lady Tigers to a 15-9 record and runner-up finish in the Northern Lake Conference last season.

While off the court, Shipp is a strong contributor in the school and community. Shipp is a National Honor Society Member, part of the Octagon Club and is involved in the President’s Council. Shipp also spent time fundraising for Riley Children’s Hospital, served Feed My Starving Children, worked Lady Tiger basketball camps, and is a DARE Role Model. Shipp is also an Honor Roll member with a 10.59 GPA on a 12 point scale.

Shipp plans on majoring in biology and compete for coach Shauna Watson and the Earlham Quakers. Earlham is a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III.
