Gale O. Kieper, 75, North Webster, passed away at 6:02 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 26, 1944, in Chicago Heights, Ill. to Richard V. and Norma G. (Metzger) Pangburn.

She grew up in Chicago Heights and graduated in 1961 from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights. She was married on March 3, 1962, in Chicago, Ill. to David B. Kieper who survives. She was homemaker most of her life and was formerly employed as a part-time office administrator for several businesses. She was a seasonal North Webster and Barbee area resident for many years and permanently moved to North Webster area in 2003. She loved Jesus and was a loving wife and mother who was especially proud of all her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Kimberly (Eric) Kieper-Landes, Goshen; two sons: David (Karen) Kieper and Fred (Kim) Kieper, both of Goshen; nine grandchildren: Jessica Landes, Julia Landes, Jenna Kieper, Chase Kieper, Katie Kieper, Jacob Landes, Nick Kieper, Jackson Landes, and Payton Kieper; her sister, Nedra (Mike) Wegrzyn of Crete, lll.; as well as many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Lonnie and Richard Pangburn

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at Grace Lutheran Church, 203 E Main St., Syracuse, with Pastor Wendy Piano officiating. Burial will follow at the Mock Cemetery in North Webster.
